The wickedness of President Paul Biya against AnglophonesA

Buea – South West Region

A very disheartening video of a woman in a village in Buea the capital of the Southern Cameroons Ambazonia was brought out of her house by the colonial military forces of President Paul Biya and all her two legs shot.

This lady respected the prefectural order that forbid the movement of persons and transport and remained at home.  The provocative Cameroon military hungry for blood will not let the people be. They will go right into quarters and break into homes dragging civilians out either to shoot or to arrest to later extort money from them in the name of (bails).

This was the unfortunate case of this woman, whose crime is that she respected the shutdown by the SDO for Fako and remained indoors. The military broke into her home and shot her two legs rendering her in that condition. She could not be ferried to the hospital as the transport sector is grounded by the same decree.

It is high time the International community call President Paul Biya, Africa’s long serving dictator to book for crimes against humanity. Anyone watching this video feels the pain she is undergoing and there is the zeal to take action.

President Biya’s Campaign Team Scams thousand of youths in Yaoundé

President Biya’s Campaign Team boasted over Crtv to have mobilized close to 40,000 youth to parade the streets of Yaoundé as support for the continuation of President Paul Biya come Oct 7 presidential elections. They were after the march past stranded in town.

Scandy Media later learnt that these youths came from all over the national Territory claiming they received phone calls to come to Yaoundé the Capital of La Rep for a CPDM meeting only to be brought, used and dumped after parading the streets.

Amongst those who came from other regions were Damarice Abendou all the way from Bamenda in the NWR,  Diane Ndzie Nama from the South Region, Elysee Koroko from Yaoundé 2 Soa who expressed their dissatisfaction to the organizers who were nowhere to be found but got them stranded and abandoned.

Another category of group duped by the same CPDM campaign team were the motorbike riders also known as Okada boys. They were hired to ride throughout the city from the main town through Essos and Omnisport only for the organizers to disappear into thin air leaving them with no balance for the whole day.

This would mean that the exaggerated figures of 40,000 youths which were not up to 20,000 were tricked to come to Yaoundé for an urgent meeting only to be used to come to the streets and parade themselves as rallying behind President Paul Biya only to be abandoned on the streets after achieving their aim to get them on the camera for their media and candidate.

This should be a serious warning to those going to give their votes to the CPDM as sign of bad faith and that more of such disappointments await them after the elections. A word to a wise is enough.

Bui SDO Simon Emile Mooh should be held responsible for the genocide and atrocities in Kumbo

Kumbo- Nso Bui

For a year now the silence of the SDO for Bui Simon Emile Moh who took over from the peace loving Nzeki Theophile, the man who despite the evil plans and intentions of the regime could still come out and calm the population and speak out on the atrocities with the out going D.O Kamto Francis must come to an end else he be considered the brain behind all the atrocities and genocide in going in Kumbo – Bui and therefore face the tune.

Mooh Emile Simon

Nji Emile Simon Mooh SDO for Bui is notorious for his deliberate silence on the killing of civilians in Kumbo. Since the burning of civilian crops in Tadu, the massacre of kids in Oku, the firing squad meted on civilians in Tayaf and Waiynamah, the burning of homes in Kitiwum and Tadu, the attacks in Mbiame, the killing of 3 members of a family by the military truck, the killing of 8 civilians at Berlem -Dzeng area etc etc…, the SDO has NEVER altered a single word nor explanation.

He and his brutal soldiers have instead join the NWR Governor (Dogvernor) Lele L’Afrique on a stupid campaign asking civilians not to be afraid of the military, not to run when they see them coming…

Lele l’Afrique

On Thursday, a more than 100 soldiers arrived Kumbo on brand new white Toyota Stouts. They went over to Bambui ( a quarter in Kumbo) and did some war games before proceeding to Kumbo Town and started harassing and arresting civilians around Squares. They abducted builders at a construction site and took them to the Brigade and asked them pay a “bail” of 15,000frs each. This the SDO remained mute yet asking the civilians to stay as they are protected. That is the protection he is giving them by conniving with the military to extort money and terrorize the poor  masses.

To make matters worse, yesterday they obstructed the vegetables market women several times as they harassed and abducted any man they saw around Kumbo Central town. Shey Meyo and Shey Kucha were whisked off to the Gendamerie for standing beside his door and for transporting beer to his bar respectively. A bike was chased towards Vebarong for transporting a patient to the hospital! Despite the fact that Kumbo people have been calm ignoring the provocations of the military, this SDO’s silence might be the reason for more atrocities, meaning that he endorses all the actions of the colonial military forces.

Many people have been abducted this weekend and asked to pay “bails” before release. With the regime refusing to dialogue with the people , where do they expect the population to get the money for these ‘bails’ which is what the military uses as allowances to survive.

If the SDO does not take immediate action to stop this, and put the colonial military into book, he shall not only be Booked like other colonial SDOs to the Hague and charged for remaining silent in the face of an organized genocide but face draconian sanctions from the angry population.

The Lay Faithful,
Diocese of Kumbo
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Sunday Obligation, 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time
As the times in which we live get even tougher, insecure and uncertain, I use this chance to assure you of my spiritual closeness. In times like these, we must remain close to God, praying with the psalmist that the Lord may give us joy to balance our affliction for the years we have known misfortune (cf. Ps 90:15).
As you may well agree with me, the days ahead do not seem bright but we must face them as Christians that we are. Because of the uncertainty and insecurity, I call on all the parishes to give the Christians the opportunity, on the 27th Sunday in ordinary time, to fulfil their Sunday obligation as from Saturday evening. Sunday Masses, therefore, can be celebrated on Saturday, 06th October 2018 as from 15h30. Of course, Masses on the 07th October 2018 should equally be celebrated within the limits of the security and safety of the faithful.
The 27th Sunday in ordinary time, this year, providentially falls on the feast of Our Lady of Victory (or Our Lady of the Holy Rosary). While we remember the victory She brought at the battle of Lepanto against the Islamic invasion, let us prayerfully turn to her. Let us especially invoke her intercession and seek her maternal protection during this period of crisis in our land. If we remain attached to God, and with Mary as our companion, we will be able to sail through this difficult moment. Take time on Sunday 07th October to pray the rosary with your family.
Do keep safe. We remain united in our prayers.
Yours devotedly in Christ,

+ George Nkuo
Bishop of Kumbo
